The Jewelry Making Class offers an exciting and creative environment where children can express their artistic minds while crafting beautiful accessories that reflect their unique personalities. This comprehensive workshop allows children to explore the fascinating world of jewelry design, providing hands-on experience with a variety of mediums and textures. Participants will learn essential jewelry-making techniques, including beading, wire wrapping, and the use of basic tools. They will have the opportunity to work with an array of materials such as beads, gemstones, charms, and different types of wire and stringing materials. The class will also introduce children to the principles of design, color theory, and the importance of symmetry and balance in creating visually appealing pieces. Throughout the course, children will create a range of projects, from simple bracelets and necklaces to more intricate earrings and rings. Each project is designed to help them build confidence and develop their fine motor skills, attention to detail, and creativity. The class emphasizes self-expression and encourages children to experiment with different styles and techniques to discover what they enjoy most. In addition to hands-on crafting, the Jewelry Making Class will also cover the history and cultural significance of jewelry in various societies, providing a well-rounded understanding of the art form. This engaging and educational workshop is perfect for children who love to create and want to learn new skills in a fun, supportive environment. By the end of the class, each child will have a collection of unique, handmade jewelry pieces that they can proudly wear or gift to family and friends. They will also be able to sell their Jewelry at Lune Spark Annual Student Exhibition (they keep all proceeds). Grow from a beginner level through a master proficiency in the four skill levels that are available for this course — receiving a certificate at each level. All required supplies included in the price of registration! **FORMAT: This class meets weekly for 50 mins. You will now pay one-time registration fees of $25 to secure a spot. When you show up for your first class—you'll be placed on a monthly subscription plan you can pause or cancel any time. If you enjoyed your first class, then we’ll see you next week, same time, same place. If you didn’t enjoy your first class, your subscription will be canceled, with full refund.
